A Canadian Member of Parliament (MP), Gerard Kennedy has introduced a private member’s bill to amend Canada’s immigration laws. If this bill were to pass and become law, it will alter current Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. This bill is aimed at allowing “war resisters” to stay in Canada.
